With passion, experience, and a deep love for Namibia, Horst, Birgit, and Nina have created a place that not only inspires but also touches the heart. Horst has known the Forgotten Valley for many years and kept his fascination with it a secret for a long time. When partners were sought to secure a sustainable source of income for the Orupupa Conservancy through tourism, Horst did not hesitate – his vision was to become reality.

​The Ekoto Camp was created with great attention to detail under the guidance of Horst and his wife Wina, while Birgit and Nina, with their many years of experience in tourism, ensure that the Forgotten Valley becomes a vibrant, authentic experience for guests.
